You Need to Be Pretty Popular to get your own Magazine
First issue cover
Just to show how popular "Once Upon a Time" has become, it now has its own magazine available at newsstands and specialty comic stores.
Issue #1 of 2 is at U.S. newsstands now. The second issue (and presumably final) issue will arrive in the summer of 2013. There are 148 pages of exclusive cast interviews in the first issue:
-Jennifer Morrison discusses her role as Emma Swan and how the character has grown
-Jared Gilmore gives the special viewpoint of a child actor
-Meghan Ory reveals insights about playing dual roles as a wolf and a waitress
-Lana Parrilla gives insights about the Evil Queen
-Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis talk about creating the show
There is lots of behind-the-scenes stuff, and the first issue discusses season one in depth. The second issue will focus more on the second season.
The magazine also went on sale in in the U.K. on March 7. and in Australia and New Zealand on April 13. This site in not affiliated with them, but we understand you may order copies here.
Lana Parrilla, who plays the Evil Witch on "Once Upon a Time," was kind enough to provide some photos of her prep for and appearance at the 2013 Academy Awards for her fans. She attended an Oscars after-party for EJAF.

Some folks don't particularly like this look on Lana Parrilla, though she looks terrific. I think they expect her to go out in real life in full "Evil Witch" costume - which, truly, would be kind of campy if she went anywhere near that. Anyway, just for comparison and without making any judgments about who looks better and so forth, here is another Oscars attendee, Samantha Barks, strictly for comparison.

Lana's look is a bit more conservative, befitting her position as a major television star, while Samantha Barks was playing off of her role as young Éponine in Les Misérables. The lighting and camera angle/lens for Samantha Barks' pose clearly were much, much better, almost like a model photoshoot. I looks like Lana's picture was taken from a distance with a photo lens in a glare (notice the harsh shadows), so beware snap judgments.
Behind the Scenes on the set of "The Queen is Dead"
Young Snow White
This is the best picture from this group and deserves special treatment. I like this shot just because, unlike a lot of behind the scenes shots, it gives a real flavor of what it must be like to be on set as an actor, apparently here rehearsing a scene. Bailee Madison as young Snow White apparently is looking for direction.

Deadline.com, among others, is reporting that ABC is planning on spinning off the Mad Hatter character from "Once Upon a Time" into his own series. The original Mad Hatter on the show, Sebastian Stan, is busy working on Broadway ( "Picnic") and feature films ("Captain America"), so he isn't available for further appearances or his own series. Someone else will wind up with the role, so all you Mad Hatters out there, get ready for auditions!
Sebastian Stan was a fan favorite
Another possibility would be to cast someone new as the Mad Hatter later in the season and perhaps, if he proves popular but not popular enough for his own series, upgrade him to a series regular as happened with Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Meghan Ory (Red) and Colin O'Donoghue (Hook). Or, he could potentially become part of the developing "Alice in Wonderland" project at ABC.
Sebastian Stan had real personality in his role
Everything else is pretty much speculation at this point. ABC itself doesn't know precisely how this will work out, so nobody else can know, either. It really all depends on you, the viewer, and what would work best for you. You have the power!
The Mad Hatter is a great draw with children
In any event, great news for all you Mad Hatter fans, it appears you will be seeing a lot more of the character!
The man himself
Nobody will do the role better than Sebastian Stan, though.
In the original Grimm fairytale, Rumpelstiltskin is a key figure. A miller lies to the king, telling him that his daughter can spin ordinary straw into gold. The king wants gold, so he imprisons her so that she can make him some. Rumpelstiltskin appears and offers to spin the gold. However, she must offer up to him her first born child.
Cora is the miller’s daughter in ABC's "Once Upon a Time."
Here are 16 photos released by ABC for the March 3 2013 episode "The Queen is Dead" 2x15 in which everybody fights over Rumpelstiltskin's dagger in a clocktower. We also see more glimpses of Snow White's childhood.

Fun New Cast Photos of the Stars of "Once Upon a Time"
Some posed promotional cast photos that you hopefully will enjoy. Obviously, they all are having a bit of fun, which is nice as it shows a loose set.
One personal note - much as I admire Robert Carlyle and think he probably is the best actor on "Once Upon a Time" (with the possible exception of everyone else), the fewer times I have to type "Rumpelstiltskin," the better. ;)
