The spin-off from "Once Upon a Time" finally has an official title. "Once: Wonderland" begins filming on April 7 2013. English-born Australian actress Sophie Lowe will play Alice, while British actor Peter Gadiot is cast as her love interest, Cyrus. They previously announced that British actor Michael Socha as The Knave, so all of the main leads will be foreign-born. This actually continues a Disney tradition for "Alice in Wonderland," as Alice in the 1951 classic animated Disney film was voiced by London-born Kathryn Beaumont. Mia Wasikowska, who played Alice in Tim Burton's 2010 live-action version, was born in Australia.

Estrin will run the show if it gets picked up, with Espenson returning to the flagship show. Steve Pearlman, who executive produces "Once Upon a Time," will do the same with the spinoff.
