There are a lot of awards given out in Hollywood.  Once Upon a Time won its share after its first season.

Once Upon a Time won the 2012 ALMA award for Favorite TV Actress-Drama, Lana Parrilla.

Lana Parrilla also won the 2012 TV Guide awards for Favorite New Villain.  The show itself won "Favorite New Series."

Jared Gilmore won the 2012 "Best Performance in a TV Series - Leading Young Actor" from the Young Artist Awards.

The show was nominated for three Primetime Emmys: Outstanding Costumes; Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup; and Outstanding Special Visual Effects.

The Teen Choice Awards nominated Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and the show itself for awards. Keegan Connor Tracy was nominated for a Leo award for best guest female performance in a dramatic series. The Casting Society of America also nominated "Once Upon a Time" for an Artios Award.

Once Upon a Time also was nominated for a 2012 People's Choice Award for "Favorite New TV Drama", but lost to Person of Interest.[28] It received the nomination for "Best Genre Series" at the 2011 Satellite Awards, but lost to American Horror Story.[29] The program also received three nominations at the 2012 Visual Effects Society Awards, but all lost to Boardwalk Empire, Gears of War 3 and Terra Nova, respectively.

Once Upon a Time was nominated for two Saturn awards.  The Saturn Awards were presented on Saturday, June 20, 2012.

The two nominations were for:

1. Best Network TV Series

2. Lana Parrilla for Best Actress

"Fringe" won both awards.

The Saturn Award is an award presented annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films to honor the top works in science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, television, and home video. It is a non-profit organization founded in 1972.

Lana Parrilla personally won a 2013 NHMC award as a good role model.
